    Diverter Spouts
Hi. I've been trying to fix a bath tub spout that has been allowing water out even when it's set for shower. I've even replaced the spout itself but water still comes out of both the shower head and the spout at the same time.

Any chance of a picture of the mixing valve? I am thinking your cartridge needs to be rebuilt, not just a spout issue.

Tex, it is best to start your own string, not jump in the middle of another

OCISONPH, are you working with a spout that has a way to divert directly on the spout? Most diverters do not positively turn the spout off, a very small trickle still comes.

Diverter valve leak - 3 valve diverter valve? [ 1 Answers ]

My shower has three knobs and the one in the middle diverts the water flow from the tub spout to the shower. I think that means I have a 3 valve diverter valve, if not please correct me. When I turn the diverter knob so that the water comes out of the shower, there is still significant water...

Shower Diverter [ 1 Answers ]

The water in my shower comes out mostly from the tub faucet and not the shower faucet (which I assume is a problem with the diverter) but what I don't understand is that the water pouring out of the tub end is scalding hot, while the water coming out of the shower end is only warm. Then they both...
