    Diverter Spouts
Hi. I've been trying to fix a bath tub spout that has been allowing water out even when it's set for shower. I've even replaced the spout itself but water still comes out of both the shower head and the spout at the same time.

Any chance of a picture of the mixing valve? I am thinking your cartridge needs to be rebuilt, not just a spout issue.

I want to replace the O-rings in the diverter but I can't seem to get the handle off I took the lock screw off the end and I've banged on it to try to loosen it up and pryed on it too but with out tearing my wall up it isn't budging and suggestions?

Tex, it is best to start your own string, not jump in the middle of another

OCISONPH, are you working with a spout that has a way to divert directly on the spout? Most diverters do not positively turn the spout off, a very small trickle still comes.
