Help. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for three years now. I had an abortion in 1996 but have had no issues since. I was on the pill from then until 2004. My husband had testing last fall and they determined that his sperm count is lower than average but ok, just doesn't have good swimmers. Please advise me what the next step should be. (Twins do run in the family, my dad is a twin and there are two other sets within his siblings.) Everything seems so costly and it appears that everyone wants their money to start with. Any ideas what to try next? (Michigan)

Have you been to the doctor for a check-up? Your husband with a low count will make things slightly difficult but you should be checked as well to assure your hormone levels, etc. are good.

Do you chart your ovulation? Have you spoken with your doctor about possible options?
