    Studer Vents
    Hello,

    I have a 2 story home with bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, all above ground
    Level, built in Alabama. Again, lowest level is 5 feet above ground.

    I am having problems designing the vent system. I guess too many bends and turns.

    I want to now use studer vents in the bathrooms and kitchen.

    Do the downstairs studer vents have to be above the upstairs drain junction at the stack?

    Or, do the downstairs wents need to be above the downstair drain junction at the stack?

    I assume they have to be about 4' above the main stack junctions.

    A Studor vent (AAV) is an air admittence valve that replaces a stack vent. However you refer to a main stack so I am confused. If you are remodeling and can not reach the stack you install a Studor at each set of fixtures. Did I misunderstand your situation?
