    Studer vents
    Plumber installed Studer vents in four locations to combat toilet bubbling/gurgling. Now, washing machine suds flow out of vent stack. Is this OK?

    No, Studor spring loaded mechanical vents are designed to only let air in and to stop anything from getting out. The Studor vent's not doing its job and should be replaced. Regards, Tom
