    Should I be concerned
I'm having a very light period w/ brown blood and spotting w/ mild cramps. I'm also bloated, exhausted and haven't been able to sleep well. The spotting started 3 days ago and this moring I was nauseous and constipated. Should I be concerned?

This happened to me and I had ovarian cysts, the dr said I would have to have them removed if they don't go away on there own but he said that they should come out on there own. Okay I had to go for a pelvic ultrasound etc and that is how they found out. It can also be normal and for no reason at all but a lot of the times it happens if you are not healthy. I gained a lot of weight and started having a lot of problems but do you have any other symptoms? You could be anemic as well, I was. Umm.. It is a very small possibility of pregnancy also but not likey but spotting does occur out of less than 5% of pregnancies. You need to go to your dr to get checked up because I also had mild cramps and etc and my dr was concerned although he said it could be normal. It just depends but if you tell your dr he will definitely give you a pelvic ultrasound and pap smear to make sure everything is okay and to see if you have fybroid tumors, cysts, etc... Weight gain, weight loss and stress can cause this as well. I don't think that I would have ever developed these cysts if I would have been more healthier because I had gained weight. It is not healthy to have un-normal periods. Also if you are spotting and are not having a normal period that means that you are not ovulating and you cannot get pregnant if you are not ovulating. Are your periods usually normal, has there been any health change lately? You really need to see a doctor to make sure that everything is okay..
