    Southwind V Ceiling Fan Trouble
    Just yesterday night me and my boyfriend tried to install my new ceilingfan, There seems to be a problem and we cannot figure out what it is. There is a white, black, and ground wire in the existing box, we have hooked the fan to each correct one, and it still will not turn on. The light on it dosen't even work. Guess the question is what should I do?

    This fan has a remote option, are you using the remote? How are you wiring the fan. Are you including the receiver? What was installed in the box before the fan?
