    Florida squatters
I own 2 lots in river ranch acres in Polk county Florida.my father left them to me.there are 4or 5 old trailers on the property people camp out in.I have never given anybody permission to be on the property.I have someone interested in buying 1 of the lots, but he wants me to move the junk off the lots.I have no idea who the stuff belongs to.can I remove the stuff from my property with a wheel loader and dump trucks,or do I have to give notice in a newspaper and to who would I give notice to,or can I just go do it and clean up my lots?do I need a lawyer.

Call the police in the area and tell then you have trespassers using these trailers and ask that they be removed. Once that is done, you can remove anything you want.

However, if the squatters fight, then you may need a lawyer.

As I understand the question, the old trailers seem to have been abandoned there, and people camp out in them from time-to-time.

I would simply dump them as OP proposes. Florida Statute 705.101 et seq. concerns property abandoned on public lands. I see no statute having to do with such abandonment on private property.

If there are currently people "camping" out in them, they have to be removed first. And it would be best to have the police remove them as trespassers. However, if there is currently no one camping out, then yes, the lots can just be cleaned out.
