    My craftsman snowblower won't start with the recoil starter or electric start
    I'VE USED THIS SNOWBLOWER TWICE THIS YEAR, AND IT WORKED FINE. However, when I tried to pull start it today, I get nothing. I tried the electric
    Start and It just hums. What is wrong?

    Hi,
    The "hum" is ominous. Does the engine turn over when the recoil is used, or does it appear to be locked up? If that is the case, it could be bad as in seized, or it could be that the starter pinion is jammed on the ring gear teeth. The first is internal to the engine and not good; the latter requires removine the blower housing and tapping the pinion away from the ring gear to free it.
