I have located part of my problem... still need tons of help. Directly behind the filter vessel is a small device (no clue what its called) that is attached to the filter housing by a small, 2" tops, on the passenger side of vehicle, at the very bottom of this part, there appears to be a brass endcap of some type. I finally got the truck franked and running but had fuel pouring out . This brass? Fitting is the culprit. Can I dry it, clean it, and cover it with JB Weld until I can get it replaced?

I changed fuel filters yesterday (NAPA Gold), and the truck doesn't seem to be getting fuel today. Won't run! I was told that NAPA Gold was good as if not better than Ford filters. Have I been misinformed?
