Does my boyfriend expect too much from me? Me and my boyfriend have been dating for about 8 months now. He as a little four year old daughter. And he is already treating this relationship as if we were married since day one of our relationship.

I have a couple of questions:

1) My concern is if he just wants a relationship for me to help him with his daughter since he REALLY does need help finding someone to watch her while he is at work... Not even a week went by when we started to date that he was asking me to pick up/drop off and watch his daughter for him because he had work.

2) Also he expects me to wake up early to make breakfast for them both most of the time! I do understand he is my boyfriend and Im suppose to treat him well but I also believe in today's day since most of us are working full-time jobs and going to school, everyone should help themselves when they want something like breakfast or if he needs his daughter diapers changed not to tell me to do it or send his daughter to me to change her... When Im present, forget about him taking her a bath either because that my job now.

3) Many of the things we discuss he tells his friends! He complains to them about how lowzy of a girlfriend I am. He tells them "She didn't do breakfast." "She complains about always having to watch my daughter"

4) He isn't very respectful to my dog or family. He use to call my dog a faggot and punch him in the nose, supposedly playing around.

5) He wants to move in together and I really don't know how to feel about that knowing that we are both not financially stable. However, we would have other people as roomates to help out.

6) EVERYTHING IS PAID FOR 50/50. For some reason that just urks me. After all I do for him and his daughter, he is really going to ask me for $10.00 back on a purchase he paid for me because I forgot my money in his aptartment. HOWEVER, I put in well over $60.00 on helping him out on a birthday party that was thrown at my house.

Thing is he has his good qualities which at this point Im not even sure how to weight them. We both have a lot in common. We like to travel be with the family. He does bring me flowers on occasions and does things here and there that are really nice jestures. Like cleaning my car and helping to fill a little gas in my car too.

I am going to finish nursing school and work almost full-time. I have a lot on my plate. Could this be too much for me? I've broken up with him before, but something made it hard to leave...

The guy is using you... I'm not saying he doesn't care for you because I can't answer that one way or the other. What I can say is that he is taking advantage of you and using you for things that he is too lazy to do. He also doesn't respect you.

I know what I would do in this situation.

Why haven't you laid out some boundaries you can both agree on? It doesn't have to be a one way street if you don't allow it.

If he punches your dog again grab a bat!!
