Could my belly button ring be infected?
I have had it for less than a week and the redness hasn't gone away neither has the pain. The pain has gone down a bit but the redness seems to stay and the crusty part looks an odd color. I've cleaned it twice a day but that doesn't seem to help. I am thinking of cleaning it three or more times a day just to make sure. But what do u do if it is and u have no money or insurance for a doctor? Please someone help me out here

Just keep an eye. Is it pussing? If it is, then you need to go to a doctor. If after a few days it still is maybe you need to see a doctor or consult your piercer.

Please do not use soap. Rinse the sight with a sea salt and warm water solution as much as possible. Mainly, keep everything clean that will be used on the site.

I got my belly button pierced at the end of July, and about a week ago it started hurting again. It's been having the usual crusties, but now it has a little bump on the inside of my belly button. If I touch my ring, it is kind of painful. Is it infected? Should I go to the doctor? Or is it normal?
