Do you ever see the glow plug "glow"? If not, check for voltage to the glow plug (hot surface igniter) when it should be glowing and if you have voltage (roughly 120v), but it never glows, you have a bad igniter. Replace it and you should be all set. If no voltage to igniter, let us know and we will take the next step. Oh, and is the draft inducer ever turning on? If not, forget about the glow plug and check for voltage to the draft inducer. Lots of option here, so lets take it one step at a time.

Booster motor will come on but will not light
I have a Coleman Evcon Furnace, Model # DGAT070BDC. Sometimes it will kick on but never ignite, just keeps running. If I turn it off for about 10 seconds, then turn it back on it usually works.
I have a Coleman Evcon furnace model BGU12520A that is not coming on when thermostat is calling for it, if I turn main switch off than on it fires up. Is there a sensor that could be bad? It worked fine before we lost power during huricane Sandy.
Our furnace is running, pumping warmish air. The thermostat is set at 68*, but our furnace doesn't seem to be able to heat our house over 61*. I've turned the thermostat and the furnace off and back on (the only troubleshooting I know!) with no results. It's a coleman evcon G FD024517A.
I have the coleman evcon electric furnace -- the blower works -- but doesn't put out much heat -- rather warm not hot - the unit may be in need of cleaning not sure -- or is there a part that may need replaced.
