My son do to be paroled in Illinois as sex offender (had consensual sex with his grlfrnd who was underage) & Illinois treats all offenders alike but we live within residency requirements & I babysit my grandchildren in their homes but po says he's not chancing grandchildren being at the residence & I wouldn't jeopardize my sons parole & told him so. Then a friend tried to get my son paroled to his residence & po said too close to school & the school is at least 800ft away from his home & in Illinois its 500ft , but po told me he wasn't going to OK parole to his dad & I because of grandchildren. I call review board who told me call field services who told me to call the parole officers supervisor but nobody seems to be able to tell him who his supervisor is. How can I get this info & file complaint or can I contact my sons attorney & file complaint before the court? My sons parole date is February 2013 & running out of time & be hardship to move since on fixed income & house we live in is within our budget. Please can someone help us?

Your son's attorney should be able to get the info on the supervisor.

But I don't see any grounds for a suit. Frankly, your son made a big mistake, thinking with is genitals. Now he is paying the price for that mistake.

Sorry it looks like the Parole department is just doing their job, and following the rules.
He is a sex offender and has to follow those rules.

His attorney can file a protest, but he has to have an area where there is not children or children close.
