I have a Maytag MDG3000AWW gas dryer. When I push the start button it tries to turn the drum, if I open the door and turn the drum from the inside it will start ( making a squeaky ) noise.

I replaced a broken ignitor and the dryer worked immediately and perfectly for 3-4 loads. Now no glow/ignition. Is there a way to check the thermal switch? What are the next troubleshooting steps?
