    Hungry Rats
    I am having trouble with rats eating the plastic connector that links the Ptrap toilt to the outside waste/drain Do you know of anywhere that will supply a metal or ceramic link that is rat proof ?

    To answer your question: you can purchase Fernco shielded ( aka No Hub ) coupling that has stainless steel band covering rubber part of the coupling. Just about every plumbing supply store will carry this coupling.

    Are you talking about a plastic flange? If so you can replace it with a metal flange.(see image).
    A better solution would simply exterminate the rats. Good luck, Tom
