    I need help and guidance
    I changed an amount on a check I received from someone and almost 5 years ago I plead guilty to larceny what am I facing please help me

    You plead guilty 5 years ago but you haven't been sentenced yet? What did your lawyer tell you? There is too much here that doesn't make sense.

    What country and what state was this... how much was the crime for, how old was you at the time?

    Second time around - I see probation, fine, restitution UNLESS it's related to your employment.

    Agreed, not large enough to really be jail time, unless they are using some "shock" program where you may get a week or two, but yes normally probation for 1 to 3 years, pay back the money, pay fines and court costs. They may add various restrictions, like no bank account but I doubt it
