Replacing Plastic Push/Pull Style Shut Off Valves?
I have the same issue as asked here
With one huge exception. There is not enough room for me to just cut the shut-off valve from the copper pipe and attach a new one. The valve butts up directly to the back wall under the sink. So my question is, is there any way to remove the valve WITHOUT cutting the copper pipe?

    Thanks in Advance!!

Thanks for the Assist!! This is exactly my problem too... Oi, It seems my simple DIY Kitchen Faucet replacement just got a little more complicated. Hopefully it will just pull off without too much damage to the pipe underneath..

    Thanks Again!

Moen push/pull crystal faucets hard to push/pull [ 1 Answers ]

Hi. I have Moen crystal looking single facuets (I don't like) that are about 7 years old, came with the new house. They started getting dirty and so I took the handles off and cleaned them with soap and a scum cleaner and used a screwdriver to get some of the "plaque" out. Now, even after...

Replacing shut-off valves [ 7 Answers ]

I'm wanting to replace my shut-off valves for my sink and toilet. If I cut off the current connection, I don't think I'll have enough room for a push connect 1/4-turn valve. The copper pipe is 5/8" wide. The copper pipe shouldn't be showing like this anyway, should it? What can I do? 7106

Corrosion? Of Plastic Stems of Water Shut-off Valves [ 4 Answers ]

In a condominium constructed about 12-15 years ago in Henderson, NV, I discovered 6 out of 8 under-sink water shut-off valves to have badly corroded valve stems, if that term can be legitimately applied to plastic. The "corrosion" was so bad that one valve had failed causing a flood. Since 75% of...
