    Will I damage a pipe 1 foot underground if I place a water tank on the ground above?

    Depends on the type of ground (how solid it is), the type of pipe that is underground, and the weight and load dispersment of the tank that is sitting on top of it. Lots of things to take into consideration here, okay? If you feel at all uncertian about it, can you find a way to relocate the water tank?
