Ao smith motor wiring diagram c56a04a19 cw and ccw
I have a garage door opener frame with no cover with no info as to how its wired. All I want is to run the motor forward and backward to raise and lower a trap door in the atic. It's a half hp type c 1725 rpm 115/230v 8a/4a. 2L96. I ran a 2-12 w/g for power and another 3-12 w/g for switching, to the motor, and I have a centering switch that is spring loaded to return to center and a single switch below it to kill the neutral wire in the 3-12 circuit if anything goes wrong. I eliminated all the extra stuff, down to just the motor and chains and sprockets to the shafts.
