    A check drawn on chase bank
    I received a check from my retirement fund drawn on chase account. I don't have any bank accounts anywhere. Can I cash it at Chase?

    With picture ID, usually you can. Sometimes one branch will want you to go to the branch it was written on, but if it isn't a huge amount, it shouldn't be a problem. You could bring an employee ID and your retirement account paperwork just in case.

    May depend on the size of the check, if it is 20,000 dollars most likely not, they will want to be sure even within their own system it is not a fraud or stolen check. If it is for under 1000 most likely.

    They may require you to open an account. And allow the check to clear.
