My now ex-boyfriend and I are now separated. His term. We lived together for a little over a year. When we met he had been in AA for 9 years. I was still an active drunk. This had taken a toll on our relationship. Well, I became involved in AA and no longer drink. Now, I am 3 months pregnant, and he has thrown me out of our apartment. He says he doesn't know how he feels about me and that he wants 3 months of space so that he can re-do the 12 steps. He says he his trying to buy a house and get himself happy. He does not want to talk to me, or have anything to do with this pregnancy. I asked him if he wanted to come to the ultrasound, he said he needed permission from his sponsor. He wasn't sure if he was ready. He stated that if he saw me, he felt that I would change his mind. He also said that if I needed to move on he would have to deal with that. I miss him, and would like for us to work. I don't know if he is full of it or not. It's very hard going through this alone. I am confused because he said he didn't see why we wouldn't be together the 3 of us, but he doesn't want to see or talk to me. Nor, is he interested in the progress of our baby. Guidance and/ or advice is much appreciated. I am 37 and he is 42. His 1st baby.

This was unplanned. I have a 14 year old daughter, she does not live with me. I have been unable to become pregnant in all that time. I thought that it was not really a possibility. 14 years is a long time. I never told him I couldn't though. I was quite shocked.
