    7.3 powerstroke problems
    2003 F250 at low speed or idle motor shut off but starts right back up. Been to dealer twice can't find problem.

    . Change both under hood and under frame fuel filters (Motorcraft).

    . Replace fuel pump, if you suspect it's getting heat-soaked, tolerances are increasing, and fuel pressure is dropping.

    . Change the oil and filter (Motorcraft only) at least as often as recommended. Ensure oil is up to the "Full Line" on the dipstick.
