    Kenmore washer
    I have a model #11028922790 the washer only fills up than stop as if it is dead will not work in any cycle what's could it be?

    You have a bad contact in the water level switch. It's a double throw switch where one stops the water and the other tells the timer to proceed. The second one is bad. Replace it. Here are the manuals: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/8010163/Whir...%20washers.zip
    This should help you. The water level switch is the one where you choose the water level. Make sure when you change switches that you cut off 1/2" of tip of plastic tube so it does not leak on new switch. Heat the end carefully with lighter or boiling water before re-attaching to new switch so that it will slip on. It works on air pressure from water entering tub.
