    Wrong tax file in 2005
    I am on F1 visa from jan 2005. I filed tax forms in 2006 but filed 1040A not 1040 NR.
    I did not send the 8843 form. What is best I can do now.

    Did my masters in Indiana, Worked as student woker in Univ.

    Amend your retun using Form 1040X and attach a correctly prepared Form 1040NR-EZ plus the Form 8843 to it.
