    Blades slow to disengage
    17,5 hp engine, every time I disengage the blade lever to stop blade it keeps turning maybe a few minutes then it stops,, what is the cause you think/

    Hi,
    There is dirt/corrosion preventing the engagement arm from moving freely. There is a spindle brake also associated with this system which is not disengaging for the same reason. Generally disassembly and cleaning/lubing is called for in this case.
