Got letter from loblaws to pay because of shoplifting.
I caught by shoplifting, and I told them my information. After that, police came and they said I can go because it was my first time, but now I got letter from loblaw and they ask me to pay $325. What I wondering is that if I pay this amount, it will not be on my criminal report? Or it will, because police said that it's my first time, so will not reported on criminal report. But now, I am worrying... because I am international student... and going to university... so... please let me know if you have any idea...

The bill from the store is what they call a civil penalty, it has nothing to do with the police or what they may or may not do.

The civil penalty is to pay the store back for their time, trouble and loss.

Were you given a ticket by the police ? Did the police give you a date to report ?
If not, it appears there is no record, merely the fee charged by the store.

Should I pay this by cheque or money order?
Than for cheque, I need to send it to them? Or do it at bank?

You may pay them in any manner or method that they allow. Which ever way you do it, save and keep proof ( forever) that you paid it.
