Trying to replace a tub spout...
Plastic pie, no bracket... when I twisted like the directions say... something is moving.. but it's not the connection of the spout on the pipe... it's further back! Now what?

    Hi Jen

Does your tub spout have a U-SHAPED hole in it on the bottom underside of the faucet (nearest the wall)? If so, you need an allen wrench to reach up inside of the hole to remove the allen SCREW holding the spout in place.

If no u-shaped hole then you may just need to keep unscrewing as some of the screw in type tub spouts have lots of threads (you'll see what I mean if you have one of these).

    Back to you...
