Hi there, I'm 20 years old. I had unprotected intercourse on the 12th day of my cycle. I am not on any form of birth control. I was informed that taking 5 Microgynon contraceptive pills and then taking another 5 twelve hours later produces a similar result to taking the morning after pill.
(I know this is stupid but I had them at home and couldn't afford the morning after pill)
I took 5 Microgynon contraceptive pills 12 hours after intercourse but forgot to take the second lot of 5. 7 days later I began spotting, I bled for 2 days however on the second day the blood turned from brown to bright red and there was more of it. My question is, do you think that could have been my period or was it a 'fake' period from taking the pill? Do you think there's a chance I could be pregnant and should I get a test? If it wasn't my period then it should be due around about now. Also I've been feeling overly tired lately. I'm absolutely exhausted but have no other symptoms.

And of course you need to have responsibility, if you can't afford the morning after pills, what about the boy you had sex with, ask friends for money.

And to be honest, if you can't afford the pill how are you going to afford the doctor when you get pregnant and how are you going to afford to raise a child.

But no form of birth control is 100 percent.

You need to see a doctor to review what harm you may have done.
