    How can my husband go about adopting my son.
    My husband and I live in West Virginia. He wants to adopt my son and no one is listed as the father. How do we go about it.

    You get an attorney to prepare the adoption petition. Because no father is listed, you have a MORE complicated situation. You will have to identify all possible fathers and make a good faith effort to contact them, check paternity and get their agreement for the adoption. You need an attorney to make sure this is done right.
