    Is he an immigrant?
    My honey is from El Salvador and been here since 1987. Has a social but employment auth expired... Is he illegal? How can we find out?

    If his EAD has expired, yes, he is now an illegal alien. You find out by knowing his status, there is no system to determine this other than you maintaining status.
