    How do you change the water plug system on a sink?
    I am replacing the unit... but when I do... I put the gasket first then the ball with the rod and I tighten the plastic screw.
    It leaks from the opening in the screw to the ball inside... what am I doing wrong here

    Sounds like you might have crossthreaded the plastic nut, Turn the water off at the angle stop try agan. Good luck, Tom
