Best friend never talks to me Any more, because I'm "clingy"
I don't have millions Of friends, in fact only a handfull, one of my best friends though has lots of friends, she and I had been like brother and sister throughout last year, but as soon as school started this year, literally like over night, she started completley ignoring me, we never text each other any more, and she doesn't even aknowledge me any more, doesn't say anything to me, or evwn make eye contact. Ive tried talking to her but she just grunts and ignores blows me off, then a couple days later my friend tells me she told him I was too clingy, but we haven't talked in weeks. We went from "besties" to I hardley know you over night. The day my bud told me I was so depressed that I probably would have lost it, and even cut myself again, but luckily he came over before I did somwthing stupid.
What should I do about my friend?
Ps: I'm a guy and don't cut myself a lot so don't worry

You don't say how old you are, but I assume a teen?
Teen friendships come and go, and some people are fickle about ending them abruptly. It hurts, but you have to treasure the friends you have left and let it go somehow.
People who cut themselves do worry people, and worry turns to anger, because they feel guilty every time they don't rush to your side with comfort and help. So I don't want to be harsh, but maybe you do have some neediness and clinginess in you, that could use some professional help? Do your parents or parent know you cut?

I don't anymore but it was just some **** that went down a couple years ago, not involving her. I had a therapist, she died, and no they don't, and no body els knows either, but its wasn't just a "friendship" persay, we always told EACH OTHER about our problems, and sometimes wed just bring each other over for dinner without any planning, and it was totally normal. Basically familly. So what should I do about my friend, leaving the other issues aside?

For some reason your answers weren't showing in my list of questions I had answered. I didn't mean to disappear, and I didn't mean to suggest that a very close friend who dumps you is a trivial matter. It is just that it happens to most if not all of us - we get dumped. Sometimes nicely, sometimes with totally inexplicable meanness or casual brush off. We can't advise about HER, just about how to handle your loss.
You could write an old fashioned letter and mail it to her. No email, no text, no Facebook, a real letter than you think about and write and rewrite until it's just right. Tell her you miss her, basically, and why. No recriminiations, no pleading, no quizzing about why. Maybe find an old Valentine card, or a birthday card even if it isn't her B-day? Do something nice that will bring up nice memories of you.
Let us know if it works... sometimes it takes a long time of waiting though.
I'm sorry your therapist died, what a double whammy. I hope you can find another one. Most don't die until ong after they retire.

For any one who saw this question, were friends again, apparently but she never answers her phone, and we dot really tqlk thqt much. So I guess were drifting apart still, she's over the whole clingyness thing though. I still love her as one of my best friends, so I'm going to invite her to dinner again some time this week. Hope that's not a mistake
