    Maybe an 'clingy' friend
There's a girl I met at my university.. and well I'm the type that says hi to everyone and is friendly with everyone.. always out of conflict as well. I'm not close to her but I don't know if she got the wrong impression or something... since she left the university, I haven't seen her except maybe a few times.. but I'm distant. I haven't heard from her from a while... the last time I did she was coming to the university and told me she wants to meet.. I told her I'm busy... but she ignored that as the next day she kept on texting me that 'oh are you around? I'm sitting here this place looks so dismal'. She's very negative and is difficult to deal with.. not a good influence and I seem to have become affected by her negative-ness. She saw pass by the food court and she kept coming towards me... she 'wanted' something for her applications... she keeps on whining.. which is really frustrating. She only calls when she needs something or is lonely. She also bashes those students who have received awards and never wishes me happy holidays or anything so that shows you her character. I gave her the brush off that day since I was busy and well easnt bothered with her company. A month later, she miss calls me and I don't reply. Then the next day, then a few days later, she calls so much and I see her number twice. She actually had the nerve to call my house with a hysterical 'im so worried... where is she?' to my folk who answered the call. They actually thought something happened as well. Folks said 'shes busy will tell her to call you back'. I don't trust her and want it to stop. Any advice? I could use it... parents thought that was a nice call.think ishould text her a message since she's 'worried'.. they don't know her as I do of course. She has a past as well and is 'dark' as well. Im in a trap. Help! How do I explain this to folks?

I think you should just try and get over her, if she only needs you when she bored or lonely then she doesn't want you. She only wants you because you're the only person there. I think she is just looking for attention xxxx
