    You distance yourself from them.

    More info would be helpful.

Are you aware that OP just criticized you for answering a question when sufficient info was not posted and then posted this "question?" https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/other-...ml#post2746647

So - rather than venture an opinion I'll join you in asking for more SPECIFIC info.

My friends family is in a lot of trouble.
They have a family member that is causing trouble with their elderly father.
This member keeps him stirred up ALL the time.
He is frail and very ill.
She even bothers him while he is in the hospital.ALL hours of the day and night.
He doesn't want to have this member around him so he keeps at a distance by talking to her on the phone.
They need help in keeping this person from the father.
    Any suggestions for them?

The father (or the person with the father's Power of Attorney) can give orders to ban this person from the hospital; the father (or P/A) can ban this person from his house; the father can get caller ID and not answer when this person calls.

Of course, the FATHER has to think this person is a problem.
