    I don't think we have any UK legal experts here, but a US one might give you something helpful and be able to suggest what options you have. Please check back later.

    In this country, attorneys often give a free consultation. Have you spoken to any solicitors in your country?

    Let's see - you criticized MY advice because you didn't want to provide personal info. Then you went on to provide personal info.

    Makes me wonder.

    Wondergirl is 100% on target - call around and see if you can get a free consultation. In the US (in my area) fewer and fewer Attorneys are offering free consultations. You said you thought about contacting a solicitor. Why didn't you?

    At 13 the "girl" should be old enough to understand the situation (whatever it is).

    What is your problem with my suggestion that you contact a number of solicitors and see who will meet with you without charge?

    No one here is going to represent you and you brush off every attempt to help you.

    First, you owe Judy two apologies. You should have checked how this site works. Twice she tried to help you and twice you were rude to her.

    Second, we never remove posts. If you want to stop posting just stop.

    It appears you were abused by someone, but when it came to trial, evidence went missing and he was not convicted. Now you are trying to protect your half sister from the same thing happening. That is good of you. Your options are

    1) talk to her, make sure she is aware of what happened to you and what signs to look for
    2) talk to family services, make sure they monitor the situation
    3) Get her out of the situation, get guardianship or custody through a solicitor.
