    Can a disabled persons residence have a lien placed against it?

    Liens against a residence is very rarely accomplished. Can you give us more details.

    Is it a homestead, in some states that would not be allowed,

    But there is nothing really to protect a person who is disabled, they are obligated as anyone else to pay their debts
