Here's the deal. My girlfriend and I have broken up. I moved countries to be with her so you can imagine the sacrifices I made for this relationship. The break up was based on her and she told me that I'm not getting her. Before I moved I visited 4 times so its really out of the blue in a way. We got along so well, her best friends said they never seen her so happy (she has had a lot of relationships; long ones too). Its cuts to the bone because now she is settled here with her friends and Im alone in a new country. By the way I won't allow myself to do that again. So anyway she says she loves me and I know she does and Im still mad in love with her. She has said time apart, break, whatever you want to name it. Maybe it was the moving in when we didn't even know each other that well. Maybe it was great while it lasted. She has said if its right in the future then if that time comes we can see where we both are and it could happen again. We will be friends I know that but right now its just hurt. I don't even know what I'm asking, maybe where to from here??

Sounds to me like she's just trying to let you down as easily as possible by giving you a tiny shred of hope for the future.

Don't plan on ever getting back with her. Face the facts- she broke up with you! Go total no contact and move on.

New country or not, I would be doing my thing without her. Making new friends and being happy for the challenge.
