Heater To Powerful for Our House
we were told the 60000 BTU 95 efficient heater we have in our 1000 sq food house is putting out more too much heat and we should get a different heater like 45000 BTU or variable speed. He was going to do a bypass but said he could not guarantee this would solve the problem. He did a heat check are we are running too much out of the normal range of how much heat should be blowing out of registers.

There is nothing wrong with having 60,000 btu's in a small house if the ductwork alows for it. How many supply registars and how many returns do you have?
