    House heater want work on auto.
    We have a 3 ton heater, we went and bought a new thermostat for it. It will not come on if you put it on auto. You have to keep it on ON and it runs all the time. The air that comes out is hot but I'm not sure why it want come on on auto.

    Are you sure you bought a compatible thermostat for this unit? Are you sure you wired it properly?
