    Leaking hot water shutoff valve in off position
    Under kitchen sink - leaking hot water shutoff valve (open position) - it seems to be from packing nut. When I try turning off the valve - it leaks and sparys the wall behind.

    Hold the valve body with a cresent wrench, then tighten the packing nut with another wrench.
