    Need help on value of some dollars found in my Grandmother's collection.
    I have been working on cleaning out an old storage building for my grandparents and we have come across some items that we are not sure of value wise. I have some Confederate money, military payment certificates, Italian dollars as well as a United States One Dollar bill that is dated August 1862.

    I have no idea where or how to start on this, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    What other information is on the currency, like names of people, locations, numbers and letters in addition to the denominations themselves, etc. please?
