    Continuing garnishment
    I have a continuing garnishement I was never notified about them contuing is there anything I can do to stop this I already paid them 5,000?

    First, its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can cause confusion so I moved your post to its own thread.

    Not sure I understand what a "continuing" garnishment is. For someone to obtain a garnishment, they needed to win a suit against you. They would then use the judgment they were awarded to garnish your salary.

    Are you saying you never knew anything about the suit? Are they garnishing your salary or attaching your bank accounts?

    Sorry about that yes they won a judgement against me I already paid them almost 6,000 and now they want 3,000 more what should I do.

    What was the amount of the judgment awarded? If the you can prove you have already paid the judgment then you go back to the court to have the judgment marked satisfied and all writs of execution revoked.

    By the way, I asked several questions, and you only answered one.
