1991 honda civic distributor coil keeps burning out
I have a 91 civic D15b2. My distributor coil keeps burning out. I replaced the main relay and computer hopeing to solve the problem. After replaceing these parts I installed a new coil in the distributor and my car cranked and ran fine for about 2 days then died again. So I changed the fuel filter thinking that was the problem and nothing. The car wouldn't start. Then I came to find out that the problem was the distributor coil again! It had burn out. I was thinking maybe there was a wire grounding out somewhere. I looked and didn't see anything. But plan on checking again for the 3rd time just to be sure. Any answers? Thanks for your help.

Before doing anything else, try replacing the Ignition Control Module:

This may very well solve your problem.
