    1991 Honda Replacement Distributor
I have a 1991 Honda Civic that needs a new distributor. The bearing is bad along with the internal wiring, coil, cap and rotor. It will cost me more to fix than the price of a new one on the internet. Does anyone have any experience with the inexpensive distributors you can buy in the $125 - $150 price range, such as from the link below. This Civic is in fair condition with 225k miles and isn't really worth spending $300 - $400 for a distributor, but I don't want to buy an inferrior new distributor that will only last 6 months either.

Several others on this site have bought them. I haven't heard of any complaints yet, but it hasn't been that long ago. I bought a replacement distributor housing from Honda several years ago for $114, after the bearing went. I reused my igniter and coil.
