    Is it a violation for doctors to leave messages about an ex husbands medical conditio
    Is it a violation for doctors to leave messages on an answering machine concerning my ex husbands medical conditions? I have asked them repeatedly to stop contacting me.

    The problem comes in that when he was at the doctors office he filled out a form. And on it he would have said it was OK to leave a message. So since he authorized it there is no violation. He should have updated his information with the doctor.

    Thanks... but we haven't been married in almost 6 years... and these are 2 ER visits and a regular MD office visit (with a new doc)... I called each of these docs and told them I'm not married to them. They told me that's the number he gave and they were upset at the fact he did that... so I explained to please not call me and gave them his cell number.. I don't know what he's up to because he's a &*%^$%# , but I need for this to stop. Just wasn't sure if it was a violation or not. Thanks again for your answer.
