    Tempstar Furnace tripping rollout switch
    Hi,

This just started last night. Furnace would blow cold air and the only way to shut it off was to hit the main switch on the furnace.

After some research I found that the rollout switch was tripped. I reset it and it worked for 1 cycle. Upon starting back up it tripped again. Just tried again and it tripped in 3 minutes or so.

Do you think the switch is bad? What else could it be. The filter is brand new,it is pvc vented out the side of the house.

    Tempstar Model-NTG9075FGA2

    Thanks

Sounds like you may have a cracked heat exchanger, or stopped up secondary heat exchanger.
