    6.0 L powerstroke turbodiesel problems
I have a lightly used 2005 Excursion with a 6.0L Powerstroke Turbodiesel. Warranty replaced the original turbo unit with a redesigned unit. The redesigned unit makes a grinding noise when the motor is cold as I let off the accelerator, as I approach a turn. This noise seems to disappear once the engine gets to operating temperature. Should I do anything about this noise issue?

You should immediately start using full-synthetic HDDO:

Turbo failure is guaranteed, if you don't use full-synthetic HDDO.
