Can you have a higher main breaker then what your service is
I currently have a 200 amp service. I ordered a panel which I thought was a QO140M200 and instead received a QO140M225. Will this still work for a 200 amp service? The only reason I'm having the panel changed is because (1) it's a rats nest inside and (2) it's full considering it's only 30 space.. thanks for your input

200 Amp service entrance conductors can serve a 225 amp Main Breaker, however, accurate detailed load calculations must be done to show that the conductors are sized properly.

Better off getting the 200 amp panel, if at all possible.

I was wondering if Cutler Hammer made a part to convert a main breaker load center (CH) style, to a main lug panel. If so, does anyone know the part number or can you refer me to a location where I could find it? Cutler Hammer's website is not too user friendly. Thanks
