    Lien on account

A credit card company placed a lien on my property without any notification at all. They have 30 days from their complaint to file one and I am supposed to receive at least 2 days notice before they file. This was not done. I did not get the opportunity to dispute the debt or anything. I found out about it accidentally. All of my siblings own the property equally along with me and not me solely.

Ok, first where are you located. Second, They should only be able to place a lien after they receive a judgment. Third who told you that had to inform you?

A lien is just an encumbrance on a property. It means the property can't be transferred until the lien is satisfied. Doesn't matter that you are only a part owner.

You can't have a lien with out a judgement. Were you not aware of a judgement? It seems to me that you
Would have received calls, letters etc
    Before it got this far.

How do you know about the lien? Did you check with the county clerk's office to see if its real?
